Police: Man robs victim in McDonald’s bathroom with semiautomatic handgun

COLUMBUS – Police say a person was robbed at gunpoint in the bathroom of a McDonald’s in the 6000 block of Sinclair Road at about 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.

According to Columbus Police, the suspect is a 5-foot-7- to 5-foot-8-inch black male about 30 to 32 years of age with a muscular build. He was wearing a gray Under Armour T-shirt and a dark-colored hat.

Police say the man followed the victim into the bathroom, pointed a semiautomatic handgun at the victim and demanded the victim’s property.

The victim said the suspect then fled. Police say the suspect was seen getting into a silver Chevrolet Camaro in the Speedway parking lot nearby.
