OSU Wexner Medical Center's Community Health Day

This weekend, you will have an opportunity to celebrate community and health at Ohio State’s 18th annual Community Health Day.

Doctors, residents and medical and nursing students will be offering free health screenings and services.

Community Health Day will also feature activities, a live band and dancers. Also, there will be free turkey hot dogs, ears of corn and fresh fruit.

Staff will be on hand to answer your questions about federal programs that offer assistance with medical payments.

More than 27 free health screenings are available at Community Health Day, including:

  • Blood pressure
  • Blood sugar
  • Kidney
  • Stomach and gastrointestinal
  • Cholesterol
  • Glucose
  • Lung
  • Hearing and vision
  • Breast and prostate exams
  • Podiatry / foot care
  • Height, weight and body mass index (BMI)
  • Vision
  • Sleep
  • Hearing
  • Sports physicals
  • Stroke
  • STD screenings
  • Dental

After your screenings, you will have a free general consultation.
