How to track runners at the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon

Tracking is available for all those participating in the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon and OhioHealth Capital City Quarter Marathon.

The OhioHealth Participant Tracking will show you where the runner or walker is on the course, their pace and estimated finish time.

Cap City Half Spectator Viewing Guide

OHIOHEALTH SPECTATOR & SIGN MAKING ZONES

OhioHealth will sponsor five sign-making zones that will help you motivate your favorite runners and walkers.

Downtown: Spring St. just west of N. High St., Goodale and Park streets, Long and N. High streets
All three Downtown locations are a short walk from the Start and Finish line and offer prime viewing to see runners and walkers on both the Half and Quarter marathon routes.

Arena District: Vine Street and Neil Avenue
At about the 12-mile mark on the Half Marathon course and just past the 5-mile mark on the Quarter Marathon just north of Huntington Park

Ohio State University: Neil Avenue and Annie & John Glenn Avenue
At about the 7.5-mile mark and about a block north of the Oval in the heart of The Ohio State University campus

In addition to the OhioHealth Spectator & Sign Making Zones, check out these prime viewing spots:

Start Line and Finish Line
The OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon will feature a combined Start and Finish Line in 2018. The Start and Finish Line will be located on S. High Street near E. Town Street just southwest of the Byers Xtra Mile Finish Line Party making for a prime viewing location.

Rich and Fourth streets, Broad and Fourth streets
After the Start, take a short walk to Rich and Fourth street to see Half Marathon and Quarter Marathon participants at the 3-mile mark or to Broad and Fourth streets to see Half Marathon and Quarter Marathon participants at about the 3.5-mile mark.

High and Vine streets
Watch Half Marathon and Quarter Marathon participants run past the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Afterward, walk over to the North Market for a snack before picking up Half and Quarter fields at Vine and Town streets

German Village: Third and Reindard streets
Schmidt’s Sausage Haus will host a “Polka Party” featuring live music just past the 2-mile mark in the heart of German Village.
