STURGEON BAY, Wisconsin — When a Wisconsin mother suffered seizures after giving birth that prevented her from breastfeeding her newborn, her husband rose to the occasion.

The contraption he used is the brainchild of registered nurse Cybil Martin-Dennehy. She created the supplemental nursing system to help mothers breastfeed.

That wasn't an option with little Rosalia Neubauer, whose mother was recovering in the ICU after having seizures during labor.

So her dad, Maxamillian, took over.

"I was like, I was shirtless, so I will try everything about once, and everyone got pretty excited and went for it. I think that's really what did it, is the Mom tattoo right there with the baby," the father said.

Max says he doesn't plan to breastfeed again anytime soon but he does want to help improve the system.
